Paul Bell

Paul Bell has research interests on a wide variety of topics, including environmental psychology, Alzheimer's disease, mental health and aging, conflict resolution, social dilemmas, heat and noise stress, interpersonal distancing, human aggression, interpersonal attraction, and affective factors in social behavior. Current projects include impact of sounds (natural and mechanical) in national parks, valuation of public goods, road rage and territoriality, the endowment effect, multicultural studies of interpersonal attraction, and respite interventions for Alzheimer's caregivers.

Dr. Bell is currently on transitional retirement (i.e., working half time) and is not accepting new graduate students.
